Various Activities Organised Under National Voter’s Day At GDC Ghagwal*

Under the able guidance of Madam Principal Dr. Sujata Slathia, the NSS Unit led by Dr. Vani Awasthi, and HOD Political Science- Dr. Rahul Verma, organised Pledge Taking Ceremony, Special Lecture and Slogan Writing in the college today. The National Voter’s Day was celebrated with umpteen fervour in the college. Dr. Rahul Verma gave special lecture to the students on the establishment of this day and it’s importance. He encouraged the students to participate in the electoral process and make it a great success. Apart from this year’s slogan “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure”, students wrote many other slogans to propagate the idea of voting as a right. After that, a pledge taking ceremony was organised at a grand level with the Principal, staff and students of the college wherein, they pledged to abide by it wholeheartedly.
