GDC Ghagwal organized an extension lecture on the topic “Anxiety  Management”. The event was organized by Psychological cum Career Counseling  and Placement Cell under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Suresh Sharma,  Principal GDC Ghagwal. Asstt. Prof. Ambica Kumari, Department of  Psychology, P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Nodal officer Career  Counseling Cell, HED J&K, was the resource person who guided students and  explained in detail the regarding Anxiety management and its treatment like  Physical activity, a healthy diet (consisting of Salmon fish, green tea etc), regular  sleep and relaxation exercises. She also explained the ways to manage symptoms  effectively, it's best to avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine etc.  

The event started at 01:00 P.M on online platform Google meet and was  attended by students as well as staff members. Dr. Deepika Sharma (HOD Dogri) was convener of the event and was organized by organizing committee that  constituted of Dr. Jyoti Bala (Lecturer in the Department of Education) and Ms.  Vandana Dutt (Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Sciences). In the  end, Dr. Jyoti Bala gave the formal vote of thanks.
